Description

SC 4-H Engineering Challenge provides an opportunity for students 9-19 to learn, have fun, demonstrate their science, technology, engineering and math skills, and compete for individual and team honors by competing in STEAM challenges.

Organizations must register for challenges. Note,

  • A limited number of teams will be accepted for each challenge.

  • Participants may only compete in one team challenge.

  • Lunch and a t-shirt are provided for all team challenge participants.

  • Those participating only in the individual Power of Photography Challenge will submit their photograph to be judged prior to the event. T-shirt and lunch is not included in the ticket price for this challenge. However, the option to purchase a t-shirt or lunch are available at the end of registration.

  • After completing this registration you will be provided a link to register students for your purchased challenges. This information is required for participation in the challenges.

4-H Science On the Move is a statewide initiative from South Carolina’s Coalition for Mathematics and Science and South Carolina 4-H. The initiative works with schools, afterschool programs, county 4-H clubs, and other youth organizations to provide education resources that are designed to increase students’ interest in and exposure to STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through collaborating with local, statewide, and national education efforts, 4-H Science on the Move helps maximize community efforts to help students become the prepared workforce that South Carolina needs to interest new businesses and encourage economic growth.
